In its core, STOmaker is a SaaS webapp that serves the community of organisations and individuals looking to securitise their assets, equity or debt, and thereby lead them into the up and coming crypto world.
Having helped several clients through consulting engagements in the past we know about the complexity, cost and time effort that fund raising and financial digitisation projects can have.
STOmaker automates most of these processes through workflows that are fully tailored to the case and jurisdiction at hand, and doubles up as a marketplace where issuers and service partners can engage and do business with each other.
ICOs or initial coin offerings have been very popular around 2018 until they fell from grace because a lot of investors got scammed and cheated out of their money.
STOmaker's services focuss on so-called regulated financial instruments, using the same infrastructure that powers, for example, Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Issuing regulated tokens mean that STO are registered, approved and therefore legalised by financial authorities and unlikely to be banned.
STOmaker is first and foremost a community effort, and therefore works similar to a DAO (decentralised autonomous organisation).
STOmaker receives funds for access to the SaaS platform and a small share of token supply for every successful STO project.
Funds received are ploughed back into further developing STOmaker, which - to large parts - is open-source, and into marketing the platform to a wider audience that we educate.
At a later point, STOmaker intends launching its own STO tokens, which are then likely accrue value for its partners and contributors.
STOmaker is a loose, virtual organised group of crypto enthusiasts with a wide range of international experience. The core team of backers and contributors is driven by the desire to simplify the launch and issuance of STOs, and make STOs more widely accessible to small and medium sized issuers that struggle to raise funds for their projects.
The core group is currently spread across the UK, Europe and the Gulf region.
There are numerous ways you can get involved.
